When I was a young kid, about 22 years old, working in Laughlin, NV -- Tony and Sammie came into town for a show and stay at the Harrah's location. This was in 2006. I rode in the limo that took Tony to the concert venue and had a short but great conversation with both Tony and Sammie Shore (Pauly Shore's Dad). Heck, they even invited me up to the penthouse sweet for a social event--that I politely denied (due to certain policies).
When I was talking to him, one of the things he asked me was, " what do you want to do with your life? " I replied that I wanted to go on to do greater things in my life, I just wasn't sure how. He chuckled, and told me that "the journey is all part of life's grand adventure. Think outside of the box."
Well, I am almost 38 today. However, I remember this experience clear as day. And for that I appreciate Tony. Sammie, rest in peace (2019), was a very funny man. He had us laughing the whole way...
… and wouldn't you know? Tony is a Christian.
